Discover Space!
Space Expo is the visitor centre of ESA ESTEC here in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and her son Prince Friso opened the exhibition on the 29th of June, 1990. Each year we welcome more than 120.000 visitors.
Much attention is paid to the vast history of space travel. You can walk through a 1:1 scale model of the International Space Station (ISS) as well as walk past a 1:1 scale model of the moonlander Eagle of 1969, one of our visitors favorites.
Kidsproof
Space Expo is a Kidsproof museum! The Museum Inspectors, children up to 12 years old, gave our museum a rating of 8.49. We are super proud of the final result!
Expedition Space Expo
Expedition Space Expo is an interactive mission for children aged 5 to 12. At the museum you will receive a personal logbook for free with assignments, special facts and quiz questions. If you answer enough questions correctly, you will unravel the secret code!
Walk of space
A Walk of Space has been under construction on Noordwijk's Koningin Wilhelmina Boulevard since 2013. You can literally walk in the footsteps of your favorite astronaut.
